Virtualization and Cloud (Cloud Computing) - L3 CS 2025-2026

This course provides a basic understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud for everyone, no matter your technical role. You will learn about AWS concepts, services, security, architecture, pricing, and support. 

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain what the AWS Cloud is and its pricing model.

  • Identify AWS global infrastructure.

  • Understand AWS security (IAM) and network (VPC) services.

  • Describe AWS compute services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk).

  • Describe AWS storage (EBS, S3, EFS) and database services (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora).

  • Understand AWS architectural principles.

  • Explain AWS elasticity and related services (Elastic Load Balancing, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling).
